first KEY POINT
Initially, this summary was supposed to be rich in examples. However, Neville Medhora chose to make it concise. Why? Because our attention span, overwhelmed by snapshots and TikTok, would not survive another thesis. Nevertheless, concision does not mean cheapness. This theory is emphasized by the precisely formulated pieces of advice and targeted examples represented in this summary. And, let's be honest, many of us strive to monetize our writing. By simply reorganizing the words you write, you can become rich. This will happen gradually, over time. Except for winning a lottery, nothing wealth-related comes in a snap.
Information is neutral in itself. It gains value as soon as we attach specific purposes to it. In other words, when we put it to practice. Everything you learn in this book can raise money for charity or advance products that will positively change people’s lives. Of course, you can always use your words only to exercise power over others or scam them into buying some crappy product. But karma will get you anyway, so choose wisely.
second KEY POINT
All other conditions being the same, the words you use can really make a difference. Medhora suggests that we take a look at a simple yet graphic example. Imagine two similar envelopes signed similarly and having identical postal stamps. There is no way of telling one from another. Inside each of them, there are two letters. Both are written to your mother. The one lying to the right reads:“Dear mother,It seems that we have grown apart lately. I now have a family of my own and a job that I like. I don’t call you as often, let alone drop by. The distance between us doesn’t mean that we are strangers now. I still love you, and I know that you love me too. I often think about how thankful I am for everything you’ve given and taught me. I would never be the human being I am now if it weren’t for your patience and immense love. And I know you and dad had to sacrifice a lot for me to live the way I do today. Many of my friends complain about their parents. Of course, we had our share of problems, but that is just the way things are. And we managed to overcome everything and still be a family.Still your kid, XP. S. I’m not drunk, didn’t do anything wrong, just feel very grateful to you two <3”This letter contains an utterly high potential of making both of your parents cry with joy. It will tell them that what they did in their lives was right, and you are a veritable epitome of that.
