Martin Luther King Jr.’s life will go down in history as legendary. He was by no means a perfect man. Still, he confidently contributed to the beginning of peaceful cohabitation among various races in the US. Ultimately, he paid the price by losing his life. But, before his death, he wrote a series of educational treatises and volumes — all concerning the emancipation of the Black American from pseudo-servitude. He could have immortalized the captivating moments of his heroic contribution to the justice-driven movements, but he focused on delivering his vision of achieving total freedom for Black and all poor Americans instead.King tried to make two resounding points to the power-wielding minority of America. One, the peace and progress of the United States depended on the coalition of Black and white people. But first, white people must acknowledge the necessity of investing resources, humaneness, and opportunity to lift Black people to the height of their potential. Two, white people must own their faults in driving Black Americans to adopt desperate means when aiming to achieve a respectable self-identity.
Here, we have a leader who continually observes the degenerative tendencies of white supremacist mass gatherings, marches, and rallies. And he did his best to quell the outward manifestation of the legitimate bitterness of Black Americans. With the Black Power movement, King rechanneled the angry energy resulting from centuries of maltreatment and showed the masses a better way to stand up for themselves.Follow us and dive into King's final work before his tragic assassination. This summary offers valuable insights into King's vision for the future of the civil rights movement. It showcases his leadership and visionary abilities, which inspired many during his lifetime.

After the continued struggle for justice led by the civil rights movement in the 1950s and 60s, the “Black Power” theme is starting to lose significance, fading away from the public discourse and missing out on its full potential. However, the struggle is not over. Instead, it’s a sign that the movement is experiencing a scaling problem. It still possesses magnitude but is now losing its sense of direction. The embers of violence erupt again during riots, so social justice, racial integration, and communal progress institutions should look out for this dangerous tendency. With the start of the mass civil rights movement, Black Americans learned to strategize. It came almost serendipitously, along with the first nonviolent demonstration in Montgomery, Alabama, in 1956. This demonstration was essential as it gave birth to other movements like boycotts, sit-ins, and mass marches. The direct involvement of the masses in contributing to the commonwealth’s change led to a rise in vigor across all of America’s racial justice movements. The battle was no longer limited to a legal contest with the ordinary person watching from the sidelines; instead, everyone got a chance to create history. In fact, at some point, poor white folks started joining the band of Black protesters — making a mini-brotherhood similar to what the Black people had in mind.
